I am Bored!

I am so fucking bored tonight. It's my day off, and I've done nothing but sit around at the computer, and watch movies. I've wanted a day to just do nothing for the longest time, but now that I've had a day like that I'm going fucking crazy.

So, I got glasses yesterday, it's amazing how much better I can see. I didn't really think I needed glasses all that badly, but wow, everything is so much sharper and clearer. The eye doc said that there's a chance of the glasses correcting my vision eventually, if I wear them all the time...that would be absolutely awesome.

Little Bits

You know when you have those times that you have a hundred zillion thoughts just zooming around in your head?
Well here's a sampling of some of my hundred zillion thoughts, and believe me they are random.

  • If I'm such a comedy lover, why do I not have any funny movies?
  • I wonder if we'll get a really cool Mid - January thunderstorm like we did a few years ago.
  • If I woke up one day and found that I had a penis, I wouldn't play with myself, or measure it, I would instead walk over to the mirror, do a funny lil dance to see how my balls jiggled.
  • This is the longest I've used this purse.
  • Why does this fuckin' song makes me cry every time I hear it?
So yeah, very random eh, so random it would drive Bill W. to drink (After he rolled over in his grave that is).

Craptacular phones

I get these urges sometimes to buy the stupidest things. I call it getting a bug up my ass.

So the other night I got a bug up my ass and wanted a new cell phone, a pay as you go service though. I went and got my new phone, got it activated, and put the unlimited text messaging on for $10 per month. All is good and well, until I realized that I hadn't even used the phone all day really and the battery was about dead. It's a Samsung SPH -m300, and I'm not sure if it's just a cheapo phone, or if the battery I got with it was fucked, so I'm going to see about getting that replaced.

So here's what happened, not even a full week after buying said phone, I realize that I'm happy enough with the phone I already had, which was the Motorola V360. Now. I have nothing bad to say about my lil moto. It gets good reception, I've finally figured out all the settings and what not, plus the battery life is a dream come true. If I don't use the phone alot for texting, or making lots of calls the battery will last more than a week, if I'm using it alot it lasts for about 4-5 days.

Now I'm regretting buying that phone...oh and now I've got to wear glasses too. In a week to 10 days when they are ready, I will officially be a Four - Eyes! That's gonna feel weird!

Mashed Potato and Gravy Thief

So I get home after working a late shift, and get this giant plate of food that mom had cooked for dinner earlier in the evening. I come into my room, set the plate down on the bed, and start replying to a message someone sent me.
All of a sudden I hear this noise like an animal lapping up some kind of food or drink, I turn my head and this is what I see.

So I take the plate away, and of course I get the smug, lip-lickin haha I got your dinner mama look that only a spoiled brat of a cat can give! See?

P.S. Yes my bed is horribly unmade, I was lazy today so BAH!

I Drove It Today

I got the new(er) car certified, and insured. It failed the first emissions test, but dad and I tweaked it a little bit and ran some kerosene through it with gas. I heard that the kerosene (diesel will also work) will burn off some of the carbon in the engine. I've pretty much run it empty, so tomorrow I need to pour a bottle of Penzoil Emissions Reducer into the tank and fill it with the premium gas, then I'll take the bastard car in to be e tested again. Let's hope it passes this time.

I had to get a temporary permit for the stupid car, I've been dying to drive it since I found out it was repaired. Well if it passes this e test I know I'll be happy with it. I drove from Orillia to Gravenhurst, then took the back roads up to Bracebridge, then highway back to Orillia, then back home to Washago and I only used 1/4 tank of gas. It's going to save me a shitload of money that normally would be spent on gas. The car runs pretty well.

Since my New Yorker was nicknamed The Tallywhacker, I've been trying to come up with a name for the new car. I think Spitfire will work, or Granny Spitfire. She's old, but she works and is reliable. She's got a lot of "Git Up N Go", and is a sassy lil bitch (and she's red). I think the name works well, don't you?

I think I'm going to love my new old car!!

Who Will Save Your Soul?

Jewel will!! Booboo, and Marc are taking another friend, and I to see Jewel at the casino tonight. I love love love Jewel. Ok not so much her last couple albums, but her first few were absolutely awesome! She's got the voice of an angel!

I heard her first when I was 14. Actually it was a week before I turned 15. I was on my way to Montreal with my older sister Valerie, and my three nephews and the song Who Will Save Your Soul came on the radio. I totally fell in love with that song right then, right there!
Later on that month I heard that Jewel was going to be playing an outdoor festival at Molson Park (Well it used to be called Molson Park - sell out bastards), along with Gin Blossoms, Oasis, and Neil Young! I promptly went out and bought tickets for this show. And you know what, it was so worth it. This will be the third time I've seen Jewel live and I'm sure it will be just as great as the other two.

I'm about to head outside for a smoke, then start getting ready for work. Blech! Have a good one folks!
