I Drove It Today
I got the new(er) car certified, and insured. It failed the first emissions test, but dad and I tweaked it a little bit and ran some kerosene through it with gas. I heard that the kerosene (diesel will also work) will burn off some of the carbon in the engine. I've pretty much run it empty, so tomorrow I need to pour a bottle of Penzoil Emissions Reducer into the tank and fill it with the premium gas, then I'll take the bastard car in to be e tested again. Let's hope it passes this time.
I had to get a temporary permit for the stupid car, I've been dying to drive it since I found out it was repaired. Well if it passes this e test I know I'll be happy with it. I drove from Orillia to Gravenhurst, then took the back roads up to Bracebridge, then highway back to Orillia, then back home to Washago and I only used 1/4 tank of gas. It's going to save me a shitload of money that normally would be spent on gas. The car runs pretty well.
Since my New Yorker was nicknamed The Tallywhacker, I've been trying to come up with a name for the new car. I think Spitfire will work, or Granny Spitfire. She's old, but she works and is reliable. She's got a lot of "Git Up N Go", and is a sassy lil bitch (and she's red). I think the name works well, don't you?
I think I'm going to love my new old car!!

Who Will Save Your Soul?
Jewel will!! Booboo, and Marc are taking another friend, and I to see Jewel at the casino tonight. I love love love Jewel. Ok not so much her last couple albums, but her first few were absolutely awesome! She's got the voice of an angel!
I heard her first when I was 14. Actually it was a week before I turned 15. I was on my way to Montreal with my older sister Valerie, and my three nephews and the song Who Will Save Your Soul came on the radio. I totally fell in love with that song right then, right there!
Later on that month I heard that Jewel was going to be playing an outdoor festival at Molson Park (Well it used to be called Molson Park - sell out bastards), along with Gin Blossoms, Oasis, and Neil Young! I promptly went out and bought tickets for this show. And you know what, it was so worth it. This will be the third time I've seen Jewel live and I'm sure it will be just as great as the other two.
I'm about to head outside for a smoke, then start getting ready for work. Blech! Have a good one folks!
I'm Back Home!
Howdy!
So after about 7 months of having my own domain and web hosting, I decided to come back here to my old home. It's just easier for me, and not to mention it's free, so I'm not paying for something I hardly use.
Things are going pretty well this week. I'm finally tackling the mound of laundry that had taken over the one side of my room, and I'm finally getting my other car fixed up (oh it better treat me good, it's costing me a lot...the fucker). Other than accidentally almost killing my cat (will talk about that another time when it doesn't make me bawl like a baby just thinking about it), things aren't too bad. I even stood up for myself this week and proud of myself for doing it.
Hmm, am I rambling much? Good, now like it! *Grin*
